Centred around the park for which the neighbourhood is so named, Lytton Park’s boundaries are Mona Drive to the west, Yonge Street to the east, Lawrence Avenue West to the north and Briar Hill Avenue to the south.

Lytton Park is one of Toronto’s most exclusive neighbourhoods. Perhaps it is because the homes in Lytton Park are beautifully built and are situated on large lots. Another reason is that Lytton Park is home to some outstanding recreational facilities as well as exceptional public and private schools.

Neighbourhood Lifestyle

No Lytton Park neighbourhood guide is complete without a discussion about the lifestyle in the neighbourhood. Yonge Street, Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue are not only within walking distance but full of fantastic shops, services and amenities. The famous Pusateri’s Fine Foods has a home in Lytton Park, as well as other beloved hotspots such as Sporting Life, Lululemon, Roots and a number of high quality local, independent retailers.

Outdoor Activities

If you are a lover of the great outdoors, Lytton Park is the perfect neighbourhood for you. Apart from its namesake park, there are a number of green spaces to enjoy. There is the North Toronto Lawn Bowling Club, the and Herbert Begg Memorial Garden. For another venue in which to partake in outdoor activities look no further than Otter Creek Park. It has a twin outdoor skating rink that is perfect for skateboarding in the summer. The park also features a running track, basketball court, baseball diamond and amazing tobogganing hills.

Family Friendly Activities

There is a wonderful sense of community in Lytton Park. Every year, parents and children alike anticipate with excitement the spring fun fair at John Ross Robertson School. There is also a great North Toronto Soccer Club which is an amazing not for profit community organization entirely run by volunteers. Over 5,000 children play in the league each year!

Accessibility

Whether you drive or you take transit, commuting to work is a breeze from Lytton Park. If you work in downtown Toronto, the commute from Lytton Park via car or public transit is only twenty minutes. The 401 is also only a five-minute drive away, meaning you can get to any part of the GTA easily. The nearest subway stations are the Eglinton and Lawrence subway stations. There are also bus routes along Yonge Street and Avenue Road that connect to the Yonge subway line.
